Communication is the key to stop Workplace Incivility, which often leads to Bullying and harassment, which sometimes escalates to Violence as defined by OSHA.   • Workplace Incivility: Low-intensity deviant behavior with ambiguous intent to harm the target. Uncivil behaviors are characteristically rude and discourteous, displaying a lack of regard for others.
  • Workplace Bullying:  Repeated, health-harming mistreatment of one or more persons (the targets) by one or more perpetrators. It is abusive conduct that is : Threatening, humiliating, or intimidating, or. Work interference — sabotage — which prevents work from getting done.
  • Workplace Violence: Any act or threat of physical violence, harassment, intimidation, or other threatening disruptive behavior that occurs at the work site. It ranges from threats and verbal abuse to physical assaults and even homicide. It can affect and involve employees, clients, customers and visitors.
